What do the webmaster tools have to do with safelists email marketing?

Besides safelist advertising and directory traffic, SafeLists relies heavily on search engine traffic! The offers I post now are almost exclusively "Help Topics". I figure if I can offer solid assistance, then I might just get a new member. To make sure that message gets out, I spend time making my sites more search engine visible. The folks that find me are then free to look over the site and hopefully read and take to heart the tips before committing their money. It may be a passive approach; but, SafeLists is growing steadily and almost no one ever deletes an account. Take it from me, offer a good product, at a good price and folks will still beat a path to your door!

I must apologize for the short list; but, most of the tools I see have very little value. I keep looking for and testing various tools and when I find something useful, I will include it.

Fantastic New Defragmentation Tool
I do not usually give such glowing recommendations; but, this tool is outstanding and free! Defraggler It is so much better than windows, it is not funny!

Webmastering

• HTML-Kit
  is an html editor that can be used to create, edit, validate, preview and publish web pages. Why this editor is free, beats me; in this authors opinion, nothing else comes close!
• NoteTab Light
  is a text and html editor with a couple of useful features not found anywhere else.
• MSN
  covers a lot you need to know about ethically optimizing your web pages for the search engines.
• Raven: The Page Analyzer is a real eye opener. Probably, the best tool available to analyze your code level optimization, not free anymore.
• Google.... a must read for webmasters.
• TomaWeb: Top notch site for buttons and banners. Although, I seldom use this sort of thing; when I need a button or a simple banner, this is good.
• W3C CSS Validator
  This tool not only validates your cascading style sheets, it lists the errors and warnings so you can set your sheets up perfectly. Perfect CSS means perfect presentation and layout.
• W3C HTML Validator
  This tool validates your html and more importantly, lists the errors and warnings so you can perfect your source code.
• W3C P3P Validator
• W3C QA - Quality Tips for Webmasters
  Simple little slugs that are to the point and usable!
• Xenus Link Sleuth checks Web sites for broken links and a lot more. Check it out!
• XML-Sitemap Generator-.09 Protocol adopted by Google, Yahoo and MSN
  Automatically creates an xml sitemap for you that makes all the search engines happy.
• IBM P3P Policy Editor
  Download and create the perfect W3C compliant Privacy Policy for your site. It takes a while to learn; but, well worth the time.

Personal

• TrafficSwarm
  This is a free tool that will bring highly targeted visitors to your page. Be sure and pick only highly relevant categories for your listing so that you use minimum credits for maximum results. This is Free; but, requires work.
• SpyBot - Search and Destroy
  Every PC needs this free spyware program. Excellent!

I will be adding to this list and perhaps deleting if I find a better tool. Check back often.
